Hello, I’m Brian Chaffin, the new President of Central Illinois Bank. Although I’m not really new to Central Illinois Bank; I’ve been with the same holding company, CIB Marine Bancshares, since we started our Indianapolis bank in 1998. I’m also not new to Illinois as I’ve been working with clients in the Champaign area for the past 20 years. What is new is that my wife Jana and I will be moving our family to Champaign – and we are truly excited about the move. We have really enjoyed living in Indianapolis, but we both grew up in smaller towns and are really looking forward to raising our kids in a "smaller community" atmosphere. Champaign like the other markets we serve (Danville, Sidney, Urbana, Monticello, Decatur, Arrowsmith, Bloomington and Peoria) provides the same "family friendly" community environment that we were accustomed to when we were younger.
